About Conquest |

Conquest was "officially" formed up with the release of WOTLK Classic. Though the core 6 who started the guild had been playing retail and other games together for years, we quickly grew beyond this 6 into a successful 25M raiding team. Conquest was born from a desire to raid on a light schedule with people who aren't mouth-breathing, struggle bus riders, or lootwhoring drama bombs. Even with our light schedule, we have improved our server ranking from 200 during our founding to competing for top 40 on the server as we begin our Heroic Lich King pulls. As we look to the future, we seek to improve on where we currently stand. To that end, we have opened recruitment and will be moving to a more populated server for the release of Cataclysm. We will be moving to US-Mankrik (Horde) in the near future. All potential applicants need to keep this in mind as they seek to join our team. Qualified applicants are expected to have a good understanding of their class mechanics, show their ability to parse at 50% or higher while following all raid mechanics, and adhering to raid leader strategies. Our raid schedule is: Fri/Sat 5:30pm-:9:00pm Atiesh Server Time (PST). We add a 30-minute extension to each of these days for the first 6 weeks of a new patch to assist with progress or continue clearing the previous tier for those last few items that the team may need. There is a hard cap of 6 weeks, as we have all agreed to be a "2-day Midcore" raiding guild.
